Travel Mig Aluminum Welder- Vancouver, Washington Job Description:Are you a skilled welder with a passion for travel and aluminum welding? We are looking for an experienced Travel Welder to join our team. If you have significant experience in aluminum welding, can describe your experience, and pass a weld test, we want to hear from you!Pay: 30/HR Starting + 150 a day per diem (7 days but must work all assigned shifts to receive 7 days)Shift: 4X10's M-Thursday (6am-4:30pm)Responsibilities:Weld and fabricate aluminum components according to specific instructions.Perform welding tasks in various positions.Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication tasks.Pass fracture-tested weld tests.Utilize MIG welding techniques and, preferably, pulse arc techniques.Essential Skills:Experience in aluminum welding.Proficiency in MIG welding.Ability to weld in multiple positions.Blueprint reading skills.Capability to pass fracture-tested weld tests. Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with pulse arc welding.Familiarity with fitting, grinding, and tape measure usage. Weld Test: Weld test at Vancouver facility Running uphill beads in 3G and 4G Aluminum weld test using MIG 3/64th wire to D1.2 standard (Pulse). Weld together 5\" long aluminum plates or coupons that is 3/8ths thick and there is no back-end strip and gouge it is just a v-groove and open back.Visual test and break test to failure.Spool gun Why Work Here?
