Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school team near Colorado Springs, CO . In this school-based role, youll work directly with students to help them develop the skills necessary for academic success and independence in their daily activities. Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address specific needs.
Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students needs are met.
Document student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights into student development and support.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Colorado Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.
Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Passion for helping students build essential life skills and succeed academically.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
