This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and sales. The Sales Engineer Intern will collaborate with sales and product teams to build technical demonstrations, develop messaging, and support client engagements across multiple industries, including insurance, automotive, retail, and finance. Interns will gain insight into how technology solutions are presented and sold to customers, while applying their engineering and analytical skills to create measurable value. This role provides mentorship, exposure to real-world projects, and the chance to develop both technical and professional competencies in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities:

The Sales Engineer Intern will be responsible for:

  • Learning about the company’s products, platform, and technical solutions.
  • Assisting in creating messaging, presentations, and interactive technical demonstrations for key opportunities.
  • Supporting pre-sales technical inquiries and helping potential customers evaluate solutions.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams on current and upcoming product features.
  • Assisting with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP), as well as proposals and statements of work.
  • Participating in pilot projects and customer evaluations, including presenting solutions at conferences and industry events.
  • Tracking customer interactions in Salesforce and providing meaningful insights to the sales team.

Requirements

Candidates should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Currently pursuing a college degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in university or extracurricular activities.
  • Basic understanding of technology platforms, mobile application development (iOS and/or Android), and data analytics tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to learn quickly and adapt.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and aptitude for presenting technical concepts clearly.
