We are located in the city of Bellevue Washington and serve individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders from birth to 13 years of age. Our team consists of a Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, ABA Therapists, Assistive Technology specialists and more. In our years of operation, we have provided services to over 2,200 families all while maintaining no waitlists for services to meet the need of our community. Job Summary: Provide mental health services to children and parents that are impacted by autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in individual and group treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counseling sessions with pediatric population
  • Work with parents in individual or family sessions
  • Opportunities to participate in our special programs, including diagnostic testing, parent support group, and social groups
  • Refer parents and patients to resources or community treatment providers as appropriate
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical notes, monthly statistics, and any other clinical documentation
  • Provide training, consultation, and support to other providers as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of ICAN treatment team
  • Maintain professional conduct including protection of client confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
  • Participate in ICAN training and events
  • Contribute to passive education campaigns via bulletin boards, social media, and other avenues of communication
Experience Requirements:

  • Licensed or eligible for LMHC licensure in Washington State (must be independent, not associate)
  • Experience in pediatric mental health assessment, psychotherapy, and case management as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to manage barrier behaviors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with word processing and Microsoft Outlook
  • Willingness and ability to learn software programs for electronic record-keeping
