Job Description
A local organization is seeking a qualified, compassionate full-time Medical Receptionist to perform a variety of tasks to help keep things running smoothly. We are looking for someone that provides a friendly and efficient patient experience when patients visit the practice.
Responsibilities:
As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for answering phones, greeting patients and maintaining inventory of supplies. Top priority of the medical receptionist is insurance verifications. You must have knowledge and experience in verifying insurance to be considered. You will also perform other duties including, but not limited to scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out and collecting/posting co-payments. Additional duties will be scanning registration information, managing files confirming pertinent information in charts for upcoming appointments and performing prior authorizations for prescriptions. You'll also create communications in the electronic health record to medical provider or other members of the team as appropriate, documenting essential elements in a task in the electronic health record.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm This is an Evaluation to hire position. Pay starts at $16.00 an hour.
