Job Description
The Fundraising Coordinator operates as Mission MSAs initial fundraising contact and helps facilitate donations and gifts and collaborates with the Director of Development on broader fundraising and donor management projects. By working with our donor community, staying on top of donor communications and administration, and contributing towards raising revenue for Mission MSA, the Fundraising Coordinator plays an important role for Mission MSAs success and continued growth. Join our team as we lead the charge to cure multiple system atrophy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as primary contact for donation inquiries.Provides stewardship and touch points for new and existing donorsMaintains Salesforce CRM and creates Salesforce Dashboards to ensure accurate reporting and donor data. Leads the donor communication process to acknowledge, thank, and inform Mission MSAs giving community. Manages the organization and process of all donation and gift records across multiple platforms. Leads the peer to peer fundraising process.Supports the Director of Development with deliverables for year-round industry partnerships as well as event specific sponsorships.Creates and distributes invoices to corporate partners and sponsors.Provides event support and coordination for Mission MSA Path to a Cure Fundraisers.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace) and database familiarityMust be willing to travel 3-5 times per yearExperience and Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience in a relationship-based role (sales, customer service) Highly organized; able to complete and manage multiple projects.Self-starting team player Experience with CRM databases such as Salesforce, Raisers Edge, or Blackbaud, donation-based software such as Classy or GoFundMe. Experience with non-profits, charities, foundations, or volunteer organizations is a plus.
