Job Title: Diesel/Trailer Mechanic

*Must have valid drivers license*

Shift: 7am-4pm M-F

Pay: $22-$32/hr

Location: Orlando, FL (32824)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel/Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Orlando. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing trailers and diesel-powered equipment to ensure our fleet stays safe, reliable, and on the road.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and diesel trucks
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize repairs
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailer systems, including electrical, suspension, and more.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, such as tires, brakes, and suspension components.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in trailer repair and diesel maintenance.
• Proficiency with brakes, preventive maintenance, transmissions, and truck engines.
• Experience in troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance using diagnostic tools and equipment like JPRO and OEM Diagnostic Software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with trailer and diesel maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
