Valet Attendant

We are currently looking for a Valet Attendant to help us grow our company by providing excellent service to our customers. The right candidate will be hard-working, friendly, customer-oriented, and must have strong communication skills to help push our business forward.
**Position Overview**
This position is primarily responsible for providing valet parking services and personal attention to guests and their vehicles. They are also responsible for providing the highest level of customer service (the Fine Experience) by creating a safe, seamless, and prompt parking experience with Fine Airport Parking.
**Pay: $14.77/hour plus tips**
**Essential Job Functions**
* Promptly and professionally greets every customer.
* Smiles and makes eye contact, verbally greeting guests and coworkers from arrival on the property through departure.
* Provide memorable, personal & professional experience to all guests (The Fine Experience).
* Accurately and swiftly ticket/register all incoming vehicles, recording valet information on ticket.
* Validate Rewards Cards for parking privileges.
* Coordinate Detail and Car Wash invoices for service.
* Keep valet lines moving at all times by communicating via radio to other valets the volume and lanes from which to pull vehicles to park.
* Inspect vehicles upon arrival and accurately note pre-existing damage on valet ticket.
* Operate, park, and retrieve customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Run/jog safely to ensure promptness and urgency.
* Accurately hang keys in valet booths.
* Assist with and direct traffic during peak business hours.
* Anticipate needs for guests by opening vehicle and doors, assist guests in stepping out of vehicle and help guests with parcels/luggage.
* Assist guests with wheelchairs and other assistance as needed.
* Provide information about Fine Airport Parking and amenities.
* Provide general travel directions as needed.
* Maintain spotless environment; ensure all valet and parking areas are free of trash and debris; sweeping and mopping and checking restrooms, notify supervisor of any concerns relative to music, lighting, signage, and ambient elements.
* Inventory valet-parked vehicles and available spaces regularly.
* Follow all departmental procedures and policies to ensure efficient, safe, and secure operation.
* Ensure all guest issues are handled quickly to ensure guests satisfaction within the established guidelines.
* Set high personal performance standards and encourage others to do the same.
* Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service to guests.
* Assist other valet and parking related positions and activities including cashiering, directing traffic, and more.
* Use professional radio etiquette.
* Performs other duties as assigned during downtimes.

**Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**
* Must be able to drive all types of vehicles (4-wheel drive, dual wheels, manual/automatic transmission, electric vehicles).
* Current drivers license.
* Impeccable driving record.
* Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must project professional appearance, neatly groomed.
* Must be able to respond calmly and rationally when handling conflict.
**Work Environment/Physical Demands**
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
* Able to work long hours in all elements of the weather (wind, cold, heat, snow, rain etc.).
* Must be able to jog periodically, walk or stand for long periods of time.
* Must be able to maneuver though the property quickly and efficiently utilizing stairs, elevator or walking long distances.
**Educational and Experience Requirements**
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Prior experience working with the general public in any setting. Directly related experience in a management role and in a customer service role preferred.
