Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medium truck repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues. This role involves working with both light and heavy machinery, requiring mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. Candidates with their own handtools is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
• Conduct repairs on transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, air brakes, and hydraulics.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and forklifts as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics for complex systems in vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician is required.
• Proficiency in mechanical repair of construction machinery, tractor-trailer systems, and diesel engine repair is preferred.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques, welding, soldering, and assembly processes is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems within vehicles is beneficial.
