Job Title:
Summer 2026 Sustainable Procurement Intern

Summary:
As a Sustainable Procurement Intern, you will play a key role in advancing Momentive's supplier development and sustainability goals. You will analyze raw material sourcing and supplier data, streamline regulatory processes, and collaborate across teams to drive efficiency and transparency.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Review the source of raw materials classified as coming from natural sources or containing recycled material. The objective is to determine the plant type (e.g., palm oil, corn) or the amount of recycled content and update records.
  • Analyze data in supplier development database (e.g., cycle time) and report learnings to stakeholders
  • Review process to get Product Regulatory data from suppliers and coordinate with Product Stewardship to improve process to reduce cycle time.
Qualifications:

The following are required for the role
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • Completed at least one Organic Chemistry college level class
  • Intermediate to advanced level use of Excel
  • Familiar with Powerpoint
Program Qualifications:
  • The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
  • The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
