About Us
ISMG is a global media powerhouse and intelligence firm at the forefront of cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and digital transformation. With 10+ trusted media brands, 38+ digital properties, and 400+ executive events annually, ISMG reaches a network of 2M+ business leaders, CISOs, regulators, and technology innovators worldwide.

We are entering an extraordinary growth phase—expanding our editorial depth and global reach. If you’re passionate about shaping narratives that influence the world of cybersecurity and business technology, this is your moment to lead.

The Opportunity
CIO.inc , ISMG’s media platform for CIOs and technology leaders, is seeking a  Senior Correspondent & Managing Editor to lead high-impact editorial coverage across North America and adjoining geographies. Partnering with our India-based editorial team, you’ll bring a global lens to enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation—while shaping editorial strategy, driving original reporting, and engaging directly with senior technology executives in the U.S. market.

This senior-level role is ideal for a journalist who thrives at the intersection of technology and business leadership. You’ll gain visibility within a worldwide CIO and CISO community, influence industry thought leadership, and have opportunities to moderate global events while collaborating with some of the most innovative minds in tech.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report and write an engaging mix of news articles, features, analysis/opinion pieces and executive interviews (text, audio and video).
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs and industry leaders to produce engaging and exclusive stories.
  • Host conversations and panel discussions with senior IT leaders through webinars, LinkedIn panels and at key ISMG summits and events.
  • Work closely with the global editorial, social media and events teams to grow CIO.inc’s reach and influence.
  • Stay up-to-date on enterprise tech, cybersecurity and regulatory trends to bring clarity and authority to our coverage.
Requirements
  • 6–10 years in journalism, ideally covering the CIO community, enterprise technology, cybersecurity and business IT.
  • Ability to generate suitable story ideas, conduct insightful executive interviews and deliver clear, compelling reporting.
  • Comfortable moderating panels, hosting interviews and presenting at events.
  • Experience in building and engaging professional audiences through reporting, events or digital platforms.
  • Strong grasp of enterprise IT, digital business transformation, security and emerging technologies.
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a globally recognized editorial team with unmatched access to C-level decision-makers.
  • Shape critical narratives in cybersecurity and business technology at a pivotal moment.
  • Work with purpose in a mission-driven, innovative environment.
