Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, located onsite in Newport, OR. This contract role runs from September 2, 2025, through June 11, 2026, and supports an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services to both general education and special education students.
  • Manage a caseload that averages 1 to 800 general education students, with some fluctuation based on assignment.
  • Support an average of 1 to 130 students in special education programs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
  • If based closer to the Lincoln City area, focus primarily on students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferred.
  • Ability to manage large and varied caseloads effectively.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • On-site position with dedicated school hours.
