Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Gainesville, GA is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support the academic and emotional development of students while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide student support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and develop interventions
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within a K-12 educational setting
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse school community

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year
