QA Tester

Alpha Omega is seeking a QA Tester to support our client. You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring all ICTs are Section 508 Compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring all ICT is Section 508 Compliant
• Remediation of small/medium/large artifacts including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Websites, On-line Learning Modules, etc
• Updating SOPs to align with 508 program and operational needs and improve customer support
• Perform testing using tools such as Color Contrast Analyzer, ANDI and hands-on testing using a repeatable, systematic testing methodology
• Conduct quality control reviews on e-publications, PDFs, PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents to ensure they are Section 508 compliant
• Collaborate with coworkers in finding solutions to technical problems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience/Skills:

• 4+ years of experience with section 508
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0/Section 508 accessibility standards and best practices, and experience with remediation
• Manual & Automate testing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• N/A

Certification(s):

• DHS Trusted Tester certification (or ability to gain certification within 90 days)

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $96,976- $140,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
