Lombardi Electric, Inc., a leading commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Bloomingdale, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the high standards that define Lombardi Electric’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including materials, budgeting, and production, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
  • Manage the business and financial components of multiple concurrent electrical projects, meeting financial targets while upholding Lombardi Electric’s established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to identify and process scope changes, resolve issues, and communicate effectively regarding project milestones and updates.
  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Utilize estimating software, such as Accubid, proficiently to prepare change order pricing
  • Manage project-related documentation, including correspondence, through designated document management systems.
  • Prepare and perform material requisitions, submittal compilations, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change order requests, requests for information (RFIs), and project close-out documents.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet project goals.
  • Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work setting while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and leadership to drive project success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management within the electrical construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects to completion on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency with estimating change orders and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E standards is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
