Product Recruiter

This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in office Monday through Friday. As a Product Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent for our product teams. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through the hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your role will involve collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates with a focus on product management, UX/UI design, and software development roles.
• Conduct initial phone screens and technical interviews to assess candidate fit and technical proficiency.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system, including candidate interactions and feedback.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future product tech openings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and recruitment strategies based on market trends and candidate feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product tech recruitment.
• Provide a positive candidate experience by communicating effectively and providing timely updates throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
• 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on product management, UX/UI design, and software development roles.
• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the tech or product space.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using recruitment tools and databases.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in shaping and executing recruitment strategies for SaaS information products, real estate products, or similar products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
