Job Title: Process Engineer Intern

Location: Fremont, CA

Yield Engineering Systems is searching for Process Engineering Intern (wet processing) to join our team! YES delivers patented technologies and groundbreaking processes to optimize throughput, scalability, speed, and economics for the world’s most innovative enterprises and institutions. Process Engineer Intern will work with cross functional team to help develop new technologies for advanced products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct Lab experiments for new technology projects.
• Test technology prototypes and provide feedback on performance.
• Work with wet chemistries and systems including etch, electroless plating and electroplating.
• Characterize process performance using inhouse methods including Adhesion, Optical microscopy and Film resistance.
• Analyze data, prepare and present reports/updates to peers.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry/Polymer science/Engineering/Materials Science, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Electroless, Electrochemical reaction systems a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, cross functional organization.
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be comfortable presenting to peers and managers.

Compensation

• This internship offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 and provides hands-on experience in the Semiconductor Industry, offering valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and industry practices.
