This is a Family Medicine Physician position in Wisconsin with a focus on Addiction Medicine, offering full spectrum family practice care including outpatient, inpatient, and procedural work. The role features a supportive team environment, work-life balance, a modern medical clinic connected to a hospital and cancer center, and integration with various specialty services. The position includes opportunities for teaching residents, using EPIC EMR, and flexible part-time to full-time scheduling with 24/7 support and advanced clinical resources on site.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Family Medicine Addiction Medicine (0.6 1.0 FTE) WI PRACTICE SPECIFICS Our ideal candidate would desire to practice full spectrum Family Medicine with a strong interest in Addiction Medicine (X-Waiver, MOUD, MAT) Fantastic team environment! We have backup 24/7, through the larger Health system. Follow your own patients in the hospital (inpatient). Primary call group will be 1 in 8. Avel Tele-hospitalist service for nighttime, greatly reduces night call load. Procedural s training welcomed and supported (scopes, procedures, surgical). Strong domiciled clinic partners (Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Addiction Medicine, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine) and outreach from Essentia Health Duluth (Nephrology, Pulmonary, Urology, Rheumatology, Orthotics, Sleep Study & Orthopedics). RN based Anti Coag, Diabetes, CDM, Hypertension, Nail Care, Complex Care Management, Tobacco Cessation and Asthma programs on site daily. 24/7 RN based telephone call coverage, high-complexity laboratory, state-of-the-art radiology on site. Opportunity to precept at the Duluth Family Practice Residency in rotation, or on site with ongoing hospital collaboration with various medical residency programs. EPIC electronic medical record.
