Position Summary:
We are excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant with a passion for psychiatry to our remote team! In this role, you will provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients across Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Pennsylvania and have a background in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for individuals facing mental health challenges.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient histories and mental status examinations.
Diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and create tailored treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment, ensuring regular follow-up care.
Collaborate closely with a supervising psychiatrist for chart reviews and consultations.
Educate patients about their psychiatric conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health system.
Participate in care coordination and effectively communicate with other healthcare providers as necessary.
Qualifications:
Current Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania (required).
NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health (preferred).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
Capability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms.
