Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment (with the potential to transition into a permanent role) in Berkshire, Massachusetts . This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a specialized Cancer and Infusion Center team while working daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Schedule:

• MondayFriday, daytime shifts (approx. 7:00 AM3:30 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM)
• Start: ASAP
• Length: 13 weeks (with potential temp-to-hire)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, including age-specific adjustments and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events
• Serve as a liaison for the Cancer and Infusion Center, providing operational support and education on new treatment regimens
• Conduct clinical research and participate in professional development programs
• Prepare and oversee intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy, and other sterile products; supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain and monitor inventory of oncology medications
• Collaborate with the oncology team to standardize ordering procedures for chemotherapeutic medications
• Develop and update departmental and nursing policies related to oncology and infusion practices

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license (eligible in MA)
• 5+ years acute care clinical experience in oncology
• Strong petency in pounding/mixing sterile products (required)
• pletion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (strongly preferred)
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) (strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to work independently within established policies
• Experience supervising pharmacy support staff
• Background in specialty pharmacy medication management
• Reliable transportation (traveler must have their own vehicle)
