Akkodis is seeking a Medical Device Assembler, Operations - Shift 3 for a Contract job with a client in Dublin, OH . Responsibilities include assembling components, performing tests, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Rate Range: $17/hour to $18.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Medical Device Assembler, Operations - Shift 3 job responsibilities include:
Assembling various components, including preparation, actual assembly, testing, and packaging of products according to customer and regulatory specifications.
Utilizing documentation such as Bills of Material, work orders, and assembly drawings to assemble products and record results.
Performing tasks such as soldering, crimping, mechanical assembly, and sealing.
Inspecting work throughout the assembly process and communicating any quality or operational issues to the appropriate leader.
Assisting in improving procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Maintaining a clean, orderly work area and participating in safety programs and training.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and good manufacturing practices.
Requisitioning components, performing line clearance, and auditing work orders daily.
Engaging in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or work experience in manufacturing preferred.
At least 3 months of manufacturing or production experience.
Familiarity with medical device regulatory procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic arithmetic (multiplication, addition, subtraction, division).
