Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments for urgent care and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Skills

• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding practices.
• Proficient in using EHR systems for documentation and record management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage appointments.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the medical field.
• English and Spanish fluency are required.
