Maintenance Supervisor — Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Arlington, WA (On-site)

Pay Rate: $55–$60/hour (W2) | Contract Duration: 2 Years+

Schedule: Full-time | May include weekends or off-shift availability

About the Role

Aerotek Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing and testing facility. This expert-level role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning and scheduling to ensure maximum equipment uptime, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Supervision

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors across multiple shifts.
• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA regulations).

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Fiix).
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align maintenance with operational goals.
• Track work orders, labor hours, and parts usage to optimize planning.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement proactive solutions.

Inventory & Procurement

• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Collaborate with procurement to source tools, materials, and services.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and vendor performance.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Support reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices, compliance, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Strong expereince in CMMS-based planning and scheduling.
• Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Certifications in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or safety compliance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
