Loan Officer Assistant Location: In our Tampa, FL office | Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This position is not eligible for remote work.

Position Summary As a critical team member, you'll be a supporting force for our Loan Officers. You'll be part of everything, from taking initial applications to preparing essential updates for borrowers, coordinating milestone tasks, supporting marketing efforts, and more. Your dedication and support will contribute to an exceptional experience for borrowers.
Essential Loan Officer Assistant Functions :
Loan File Life Cycle : You will complete various upfront support tasks on the front-end processing side with routine precision. While working in tandem with processors, you will be responsible for logging the progression of the loan file, as applicable to your responsibilities, and providing critical updates and necessary communication touchpoints to all relevant team members.
Expert Communication : You will serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, assisting them in gathering information and completing any necessary documents through the loan process. Your expertise in collaborating seamlessly with the loan officer by executing a standard process customized for each borrower is a key function of the role. You will also regularly update the loan officer, processor, and operational colleagues at designated intervals.
CRM Support : You may assist the loan officer by streamlining interactions with borrowers and prospects, automating tasks, tracking leads, creating templated communications, and ultimately supporting the growth of the branch and connections within the communities we serve.
LOS Technology : You will monitor and accurately organize loan pipeline information, follow all Encompass - Loan Origination System compliance regulations, maintain confidentiality measures, and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) correctly. You will also utilize other systems, such as Optimal Blue, to complete loan administration tasks.

BA/BS or 4+ years of loan officer support experience, ideally in retail residential mortgages.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $90,000 per year Gershman Mortgage
