An expanding equities and finance firm is seeking its first Information Security/Cybersecurity hire! Security is partially handled by their IT staff, but their growth has now led them to their first hire. You'll oversee general blue team security workloads, as well as proactively find ways to solve issues before they become one!

Ideal candidates have worn multiple Blue Team hats in their career and have worked in an environment as an early hire.

This role is 4-5 days on-site in Boston, in the Back Bay area, and comes with excellent benefits and a state-of-the-art facility! You'll have a chef who provides breakfast and lunch, as well as a fitness and wellness center in the building! Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security
• Deep understanding of general Blue Team requirements such as SIEM, SOC, networking security, vulnerability management, etc.
• Experience with Crowdstrike, Zscaler and Palo Alto
• Experience with IAM
• Experience with frameworks specific to financial spaces or experience working in highly regulated industries
• Strong communication skills and experience working with C-suite executives
