Overview Join Varsity Tutors as a German 2 tutor and teach online through our Live Learning Platform. You can set your own hours, work remotely, and earn based on your sessions with students. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for German 2. Customize lessons to fit individual student learning styles and needs. Utilize Varsity Tutors tools to enhance instruction and engagement. Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in German 2 with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and Benefits Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for completed sessions. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and payments are processed by Varsity Tutors. Ways To Connect With Students 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – Provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring – Accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available.
