Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm and Access Control Technician with proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm systems, security, access control, cameras. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, service, and inspect fire alarm systems, access control
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including wiring, device programming, and control panel diagnostics
• Ensure systems are installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 72, NEC, and local code requirements
• Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems
• Document service and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, and AHJs as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, or inspections
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire alarm system compliance
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-facing communication
• NICET I, II, III, IV Fire Alarm

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional platforms (Simplex, Notifier, Siemens, etc.)
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems, security, or access control
• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
