ROLE: Email/SMS Marketing Manager 

LOCATION: Virginia Beach, VA (onsite M – Th, remote Friday)

SALARY: $75,000 -$90,000

OVERVIEW:

Our growing retail team is in search of a data-driven, customer-obsessed Email & SMS Marketing Manager to spearhead campaign strategy and execution across multiple countries and platforms. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a crucial part in defining and implementing Email and SMS marketing strategies with a global reach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Manage Email/SMS strategy and execution for all brands across the US and International markets

● Build Email/SMS campaigns and optimize new and existing flows using Klaviyo / Recart to engage with existing customers (retention) and attract new ones (acquisition)

● Identify and define customer segments, and individually tailor campaigns to maximize performance and achieve KPIs

● Audit customer segments on a regular basis to eliminate low-quality or non-performing leads/segments

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Product, to ensure cohesive campaign execution

● Establish KPIs for campaigns, flows and specific segments that are aligned with larger business objectives

● Analyze Email/SMS data and report regularly to senior leadership

● Apply analysis insights to future Email/SMS strategy and campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor’s Degree

● 5+ years’ experience with marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo Preferred)

● 5+ years’ experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional email marketing campaigns (including automated flows) from concept to completion; including testing, sending, and reporting for an established brand(s)

● 5+ years’ experience using analytical tools to measure performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and apply insights to future campaigns

● 5+ years’ experience using customer research, data and metrics to identify trends, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of various programs and campaigns

● Proven experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

● Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred)

● Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

● Strategic self-starter
