Role Overview

AWRE Sports is looking for a talented and passionate  Django Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our powerful web platform, which provides essential tools and features for coaches and players. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in Django and a passion for sports technology, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Maintenance: Maintain and debug our existing Django-based web platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Feature Development: Design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements to support our growing user base of coaches and players.
• API Integration: Work with third-party APIs to integrate new services and data sources, such as payment gateways or sports statistics providers.
• Database Management: Optimize and manage our database schema to support new features and improve overall platform efficiency.
• Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: Django Developer.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in  Python and the  Django framework .
• Experience with  RESTful APIs .
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly  PostgreSQL .
• Experience with version control systems, especially  Git .
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
