Principal duties and responsibilities:
Develops and implements departmental policies, procedures, goals, objectives, and standards of work performance for patient escort services ChristianaCare hospital Newark campus.
Determines the scope and flow of work assignments, use of equipment and use of chemicals to provide a safe, efficient and effective patient experience.
Plans, develops and coordinates training to meet the developmental and learning needs of the organization.
Establishes and manages processes to determine workload, productivity and staffing needs.
Ensures employee relations matters are conducted in a fair, even handed manner consistent with ChristianaCare’ s policies
Establishes goals with a plan of action for accomplishment, including clearly stated desired results.
Ensures that proper communications are maintained with staff through staff meetings, other oral communications and written communications.
Coordinates the development of annual operating and capital budgets to include personnel, equipment, material, engineering services and project needs.
