Position Summary: 

Maplewood Senior Living, an innovative, forward-thinking senior living provider, strives to inspire our associates to learn, develop, and succeed. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a devoted and caring Lead Server/Dining Room Manager to become part of our family. The Dining Room Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of our dining room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruiting and scheduling dining services associates
• Training staff to ensure safety first work approach
• Able to effectively manage dining room associates
• Displays patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition
• Understands safety practices and procedures related to operating a dining room
• Ensuring dining room is clean, tidy, and meal ready at all times
• Creating a resident centered focus in the dining room to deliver an exceptional dining experience
• Planning, scheduling and managing special events
• Demonstrating a world class experience during all tours and sales events
• Possess a sincere passion for working with our senior population

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

• Minimum two years dining management experience in hotel or fine dining setting
• Serve safe recommended but can be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Computer skills including Excel and Word
