REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN / BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

Psych, education, special education, human development, speech and language, or occupational therapy students strongly encouraged to apply

Sprout Therapy Group is seeking energetic, communicative individuals to work with neurodiverse children in their homes, schools, and community settings. Sprout will provide training in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques. This job will require an ability to play, an ability to multi-task, and lots of enthusiasm! We seek to create an elite team of open-minded professionals who are always ready to engage in collaborative learning and to support each other in this demanding field.

Applicants will be required to complete a free class and sit for a board exam, the content of which is based on the class, within 90 days of hire.

Part time schedule for Mount Pleasant / Downtown Charleston

Part time schedule for Goose Creek / Cane Bay / Nexton area

Full or part time schedules for Western Summerville / Jedburg / Knightsville

Job Tasks:

a. Teach socially appropriate communication and daily living skills to a pediatric population

b. Deliver curriculum / programming in accordance with ABA principles and strategies

c. Take data on a real-time data collection platform

d. Effectively communicate and collaborate with caregivers, teachers, teammates, and members of the community

e. Be willing to work with clients who may exhibit aggression, self-injurious behaviors, or elopement

f. Take RBT test within the first 3 months of employment

Requirements:

a. A high school diploma

b. A reliable method of transportation to clients' homes, schools, and other community locations / events in the Tri-County area

c. A reliable communication device

d. Ability to pass a criminal background check

Good to have:

a. RBT certification

Benefits:

a. Travel pay between clients

b. Flexible hours for college students

c. Supervision hours for Level 3 RBTs in school to become BCBAs / BCaBAs

Salary: From $17.00 to $19 per hour

Schedule:

• Flexible day shift
• Sessions run Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm and Saturday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
• Each session is 2-6 hours long
• The majority of our sessions run after school, so there will be more opportunity for an afternoon schedule than a morning or midday schedule

Travel Requirements:

• No out of town travel
• Opportunities throughout the Tri-County area. Applicant will specify area/s in which they are willing to work. The more broad the area, the more opportunities for hours. Client will use their own vehicle; Sprout will pay mileage.
