Position Overview

The Juicer/Barista at Juice Haus is responsible for preparing and serving fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about health, nutrition, and hospitality, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve high-quality juices, smoothies, and other beverages following standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain juicing and blending equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Educate customers on menu offerings, ingredients, and nutritional benefits, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage card transactions through the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar, prep area, and customer seating area.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Assist in product promotions and upselling to enhance customer experience and sales.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Support daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and report any quality issues to your supervisor. 
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Juice Haus Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food service, juice bars, or coffee shops is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Basic knowledge of nutrition, superfoods, and dietary preferences is a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems or willingness to learn.
• Obtaining your local food and safety permit (more information upon hire). 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Additional Details

• This position requires morning, evening, and weekend availability.
• Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or fitness environments is a plus.
