Description of Role:

Back Servers are responsible for everything from running food, polishing glassware and tableware, clearing and resetting tables, and communicating with Servers and Management about immediate needs. Our ideal candidate has a passion for creating transformative food & beverage experiences for our members and guests. We are focused on providing extraordinary hospitality; to go above and beyond, to do more than expected, in a thoughtful way.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks required to open and set up for service; Polish silver ware and glasses, align tables and place settings, ensure dining room is clean and ready to receive guests
• Deliver food to members and guests accurately, efficiently and with grace
• Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including, but not limited to: water service, clearing and cleaning tables and resetting tables with proper tableware
• Possess knowledge of all food menu items to answer any questions or inquiries a member or guest may have
• Consistently executes proper steps of service.
• Assist in daily side work and closing/breakdown of the dining room

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ Year of fine dining experience in similar role is preferred but necessary
• Possess outstanding food & beverage knowledge
• Highly motivated, focused and passionate
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibits professionalism and team work; great interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous

 

Not required, but we love to see applicants who have:

· TIPs or Food Handlers certificates

· Prior food and wine knowledge

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Mondays. Compensation is $10.00 - $22.00/hour.
