Handle transactional work including mergers & acquisitions (asset/stock purchases/sales), recapitalizations and private offerings. Review, draft and negotiate contracts, corporate governance documents, acquisition agreements, and related transactional materials. Lead or co-lead deals (first-chair experience strongly preferred) and manage project timelines, deliverables and client relationships. Maintain high level of responsiveness, attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple matters simultaneously. Work as part of the Corporate Practice Team across our Michigan offices (Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Novi) and interact with clients spanning start-ups to mid-market businesses. Admission to Michigan bar required. 3–5 years of law firm experience in corporate transactional work required; substantial first-chair experience preferred. Interested in hearing more?
