ERA's mission includes holding utilities accountable for providing just and reasonable rates; advocating for a smart, cost-effective, and equitable clean energy transition; and protecting consumers from predatory energy companies.

Primary Duties:

At least one year of regulatory or administrative law experience relevant to the ERA's work.
  • Additional years of experience in the above practice areas and experience in complex litigation preferred.
  • Ability to litigate on both policy and technical issues, with emphasis on those involving economic, financial, and accounting issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn previously unfamiliar technical concepts and material quickly and successfully preferred.
  • Effective research, writing, editing, and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Applicants must be Massachusetts Bar eligible at the time of application and must apply for admission before their start date. Candidates who are not yet admitted may be hired as 'Counsel' and must pass the Massachusetts Bar within one year of their start date.
