Jupiter Power is an energy infrastructure company focused on the development, construction, andoperation of battery energy storage (BES) assets in wholesale electricity markets.Formed in 2017, the company is a leader in energy storage deployment,utilizingits proprietary dispatch optimization applications to support both merchant and contracted structures. Jupiter Power is looking to grow its Policy & Corporate Communications Team withthe addition of a Policy and Corporate Communications Analyst. The analyst will report to the VP of Policy and Corporate Communications Policy and will be a key project manager for Communications and Regulatory projects and will lead policy research that flows into Jupiter Powers policy positions.

This role will be based out of our Austin or Houston, Texas offices and will be subject to our return-to-office policy which currently requires employeescomein 3+ days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management of major corporate communications projects,e.g.corporate messaging, corporate and project websites, social media and other public-facing messaging and deliverables
  • Responsible for weekly internal reporting of the Policy & Corporate Communication teams activities and initiatives
  • Responsible for reviewing and summarizing trade association communications and trade association and stakeholder filed regulatory comments
  • Responsibility for research relating to various policy and regulatory affairs initiatives to aid in development of Jupiter Powers policy priorities
  • Assistwith tracking regulatory deadlines
  • Manage coordination of internal and external communications resources
  • Manage development of branded collateral (e.g.PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers) for public affairs or government affairs purposes

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in public policy, government or regulatory affairs, public affairs,communicationsor marketing
  • Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience with creating presentationse.g.PowerPoint
  • Motivated self-starter with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to travel asrequired

Preferred Skills,Knowledgeand Abilities

  • Experience in the office of an elected or appointed local,stateor federal official
  • Experience in a communications, marketing, or public affairs role
  • Experiencein copy writing or copy editing
  • Experience in graphic design and branding
  • Familiarity with effective data visualization
